Optimistic for the coming months

Spring at Claremont Care Home Bradford

Spring has definitely been in the air at Claremont this month which kicked off with Easter celebrations including eggstra special activities and themed menus and progressed with lots of opportunities to get outside and enjoy the mild, dry weather we’ve been having in contrast to the usual April showers!

Something else which also put a ‘spring’ in our residents’ step on the 12th April was the opportunity for every resident to nominate 2 named visitors for indoor visits.  Our residents were thrilled to be able to meet up with some of their loved ones after many months apart and hold their hands. Bev Hogan, Home Manager of Claremont Care Home commented ‘The arrival of visitors to the home has lifted the spirits of residents in our home. The sight of residents meeting their loved ones after over a year has been an overwhelming but a wonderful sight. This has had a massive impact on the atmosphere in the home’

With the majority of our staff and residents now fully vaccinated we are optimistic for the coming months and look forward to being able to see many more of our residents’ families and friends.
